Topped up!

We had a really good topping up experience at the Willow Creek Global Leadership Summit in Durban last weekend. We went as a team, Sphumelele (Social Worker), Tamara (Financial Supervisor), Alfons (Director), Yvonne (Child Care Director), Johan (Estate and IT supervisor), Marinde (Health and Nutrition supervisor) and Khiwa (Child Care Supervisor). It was an inspiring time together as we were challenged to up our game as leaders! Not only filled with new insights on how to lead, but at the same time being refilled by the Holy Spirit. If you ever get a chance to visit a Willow summit in your area, don’t miss it! :) Our volunteers stayed behind to hold the ford! May God bless them for giving us this great opportunity!

Education:

We are very happy that 4 children were accepted to the school in town for 2011. 2 will go to grade R and 2 will go to grade 1. We are still in desperate need of a pre-school teacher for the ones that will remain at Rehoboth. The job will not only be teaching the pre-scholars but also overseeing the entire education plans for our children. Could you be the one? Do contact us! We are also looking for a special education teacher to help the struggling school going children stay in mainstream.
