Self-sustainability projects

Self-sustainable projects help Rehoboth not only to run the day to day programmes, but also to expand its services and quality care. Interested to help out, or do you know a good project that could make Rehoboth more self-sustainable? Send us an email: info@rehoboth.org.za

New Projects being investigated:

Rehoboth is seriously investigating to setup a water bottling plant. If you are interested in helping Rehoboth with this, please email us: info@rehoboth.org.za

Another project is to setup a Bush Lodge that can be rented out and generate income. The cost of setting up the bush lodge will be R440,000.- South African Rand. Can you help?

Currently Rehoboth has the following self-sustainability projects:

  1. A vegetable garden supplements the village with fresh and healthy vegetables.
  2. In 2005 around 750 macadamia trees were planted and expected is that in the year 2012 the first nuts can be harvested and sold.
  3. Also in 2005 a tipper truck was bought which is for hire and generates additional income.
