Management Team

The Management Team (MT) is appointed by the Trust to manage the day to day running of the organisation. The MT reports and is accountable to the Trustees of Rehoboth.

The Rehoboth Trust (RT), which administers the project, is a South African registered charity and non-profit organisation (IT2120/97 & 012-129NPO). Five local South African businessmen are the Board of Trustees.

Introducing

We are a Dutch couple from The Netherlands. Alfons was born in 1972 and Yvonne in 1970. We arrived in South Africa end of July 2001. On the 13th of November 2001 we became parents of a beautiful little boy, called Nathan. He is our first child. Yaëlla our precious daughter was born 3 years later on the 17th of March 2004.

Curriculum Vitae

We both have living and working experiences in overseas countries. Alfons has a MSc degree in Business (Master of Science in Business Administration) and has worked for an International IT company in The Netherlands for 4 years. Yvonne has a degree in Veterinary practice and is specialised in small/domestic animals and has worked as a locum vet in The Netherlands for 2 years.

We both come from a Christian family background and have been active in church as youth group leaders, cell-group leaders, marriage and general counselling. Our home church in The Netherlands is the Evangelical Church in Utrecht (see also www.veguc.nl). Locally we are members of the Norwegian Settlers Church in Port Shepstone.

Goal

To set-up Rehoboth Children's Villages through South Africa and across borders.
